— BRNO Architecture —
BRNO is famous for many functionalist buildings (you can watch Youtube) built between 1900 to 1945. Many prominent architects designed houses in BRNO - Adolf Loos, Bohuslav Fuchs, Josef Gocar, Dusan Jurkovic, Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe and the others. Lots of visitors come to BRNO to see Tugendhat villa, but there is more to check, like ZEMAN or SAVOY café, The JURKOVIC, STIASSNY or Low Beer Villas, apartment buildings from the 1930 s, AVION Hotel and other functionalist buildings.
I am not an architect, but realised how many beuatiful and prestigeous buildings BRNO has to offer and I tried to put together this trip. Some driving and walking is involved to be able to see as many buildings as possible.
I offer driving and walking tour of some of 40 interesting buildings. This trip takes about 5 hours, depending on your interest and involves walking. I will pick you up at designated spot, drive you to various buildings (you can choose from the list of buildings in BRNO) and then walk in the city centre. Along the tour there will be English commentary on various buildings and a stop for coffee or some refreshment.
PRICE per person:
a 4 to 5 hour trip EUR 90 / per person, max a group up to 3 persons to fit into my VW
